GENERAL INFORMATION

★ MATERIALS

Depending on the design, I use various tools and materials.

This item is handmade and truly unique so some imperfection might occur.

With earrings, the earring posts and back are made of surgical stainless steel. If you experience any allergic reaction please remove them immediately. Precious metal might also be used per request. Please refer to the available options for individual item.

Some general information about available materials:

--- Earthen Clay is hand built, left to dry for up to 4 weeks, after underglaze is painted, each piece goes through the first fire at a low temperature of 1000⁰C. This takes a couple of days to cool down before they are unloaded from the kiln. Clear glaze is brushed on or dipped before they going in for the second fire at mid temperature between 1100⁰C and 1220⁰C. Food safe pottery will be fired at high mid firing temperature. If gold lustre is applied to the piece, the third fire is required at low temperature around 800⁰C to give a fantastic gold finish.

--- Stainless Steel alloys contain 18-20% chromium, 8-10.5% nickel, 0.08% carbon, plus iron and the trace some other elements.

--- Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. It will tarnish overtime and require cleaning to resume the original condition.

--- Argentium Silver is a brand of modern tarnish - resistant silver alloys, containing 93.5% of pure silver, 5.5% copper & 1% germanium.

--- 14ct Gold/ Rose Gold/ Sterling Silver Filled wire is a solid layer of14ct of pure gold/ pure silver that has been pressure bonded unto a base of quality brass.

★ CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Polymer Clay accessories - They are cured in low temperature at around 130 Celcius degree. Please clean with cold water and dry with soft cloth. Avoid getting the accessory wet. Leaving it to exposed to the sun might cause discolouring.

Ceramic accessories - They are cured in very high temperature from 1100 to 1250 Celcius degree. Please clean with water and mild soap and dry with soft cloth. Avoid dropping on hard surface. Contact with chemicals might cause damage to the surface. Handle with care for long lasting use.

Wool/ Yarn accessories - They are delicate handmade crochet items. Please gently wash with a small amount of laundry detergent and cold water. Leave in the room to dry naturally.

★ GIFTS

Each item is carefully packed in a gift box or a linen pouch and shipped in a sturdy carton box, all eco-friendly packaging. I do not include price receipts in the package to reduce the ecological footprint. A copy should already be emailed directly to the buyer when the order is placed. If it is a gift, I am happy to write a handwritten gift message for you. Please simply leave me your note in the message box at checkout.
